Director and cinematographer
Kacper Lisowski
Born in 1972 in Warsaw. Alumnus of the Łódź Film School where he studied Direction of Photography and the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw. Currently works as scriptwriter, director of photography and director. He directed and shot his first documentary, "Whisky and Milk" in 2012 and in debuted with the feature film "Father’s Day" (33 mins.) in 2014 for which he was awarded: 2014 Clermont-Ferrand "Etudiant de Jeunesse" Award, 2014 Kraków, Silver Lajkonik for Narrative Film Award, 2014 IFF ZOOM, Best Narrative Film Award, 2015 GRAND OFF, Best Actor Award for A. Jakubik. His work as director of photography includes, among others: "The Real End of the Cold War" by Jerzy Śladkowski, "Every Touch Leaves a Trace" by Anna Zakrzewska and "Chemo" by Paweł Łozinski, which won Prix Europa in 2009. The most recent film with his photography, "You Don’t Know How Much I Love You" by Paweł Łozinski, received the Silver Prize at the Cracow Film Festival and numerous other prizes.
